Very difficult day with nausea as I was still a little rough from ayahuasca the day before. Not really feeling the medicine. Sergey gave me a couple of more sips to see if it would get me to purge. It didn’t, although I tried. It did make the medicine stronger. Not a lot of work done this day because I didn’t feel well. Oh well.
We were walking back down the mountain and we passed through a clearing we always go through. A Peruvian family had set up 2 piles of heart sized stones shaped into kilns, and each one was glowing bright red. As I passed 5 feet from the second one and I was staring at it, one of the rocks exploded from the heat, scattering the whole pile and half deafening me. Sergey said in all his years there he had never seen such a thing. He made it into an omen for me saying “If the rock can crack, so can I.” 🙂
